Polling Locations
Voting will take place at the following board-approved polling locations. Polls will be open from 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Visit this page to find your polling location.

Voter Eligibility
You are an eligible voter if you are:
- A legal US citizen
- 18 years old
- Live within the Troy City School District boundaries for at least 30 days prior to May 21, 2024.
Board of Education Election
The School Board election will be held on May 21 to elect four members of the Board of Education as follows: four members to three-year terms commencing on July 1, 2024 and expiring on June 30, 2027. Four candidates receiving the largest number of votes cast will be elected to the three-year terms. Nominating petitions are available to Troy City School District residents who are interested in running for a position. Please contact the BOE office at (518) 328-5070 or email BOE@troycsd.org to request nominating petitions. Nominating petitions must be received by the District Clerk by May 1.

Meet the Candidates Night: May 8, 6:00 p.m.
We invite the public to attend our Meet the Candidates night on Wednesday, May 8th at 6:00pm at Troy Middle School. Candidates will be asked a few questions that have been submitted by the public ahead of time via Google Form. They can access the Google Form here to submit a question: https://forms.gle/KdGvLeYbWJGwgVxbA The deadline for question submissions is Tuesday, May 7th at 4:00pm.
Absentee Ballots
Applications for Absentee Ballots are available. If you are unable to vote in person on May 21, please request an Application for Absentee Ballot from the BOE Office at 518-328-5070 or boe@troycsd.org. Applications must be received at least 7 days before the election if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or 1 day before if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter. All absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on May 21, the day of the vote.
