Board of Education Election Information

The School Board election will be held on May 21 to elect four members of the Board of Education as follows:  four members to three-year terms commencing on July 1, 2024 and expiring on June 30, 2027.  Four candidates receiving the largest number of votes cast will be elected to the three-year terms.  Nominating petitions are available to Troy City School District residents who are interested in running for a position.  Please contact the BOE office at (518) 328-5070 or email BOE@troycsd.org to request nominating petitions.  Nominating petitions must be received by the District Clerk by May 1.  Candidate information will be available by May 6.

Absentee Ballots:
Applications for Absentee Ballots are available.  If you are unable to vote in person on May 21, please request an Application for Absentee Ballot from the BOE Office at 518-328-5070 or boe@troycsd.org.  Applications must be received at least 7 days before the election if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or 1 day before if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter. All absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on May 21, the day of the vote.
