The 2021-2022 Budget Vote and Board of Education Election will take place on Tuesday, May 18, 7:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. This year, residents will vote in person, unlike last year where absentee ballots were automatically mailed to every resident. The district will now be closed on June 18 in honor and recognition of Juneteenth. In addition, changes to the Regents exam schedule, as per the State, have been reflected in the calendar. Due to the number of Department of Health issued quarantines, the Alternative Learning Program will pivot to remote learning beginning Wednesday, December 9 through Friday, December 18. Students will return to in-person instruction on Monday, December 21.

In a letter dated November 6, Superintendent John Carmello asks parents to begin thinking about their child’s learning model for the rest of the school year. A Learning and Transportation Choice Form will be sent to families by November 16 and parents will have until December 1 to request a change. Only those requesting a change need to complete the form. If your child is continuing with their current model, no action is required.
