Registration Information
- Wednesday, June 24, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Students will be automatically registered for core courses
- Non-resident may not register for courses
- Students who live in Troy and attend a private institution are eligible for summer school
- Regents Exams are Tuesday, August 18 and Wednesday, August 19.
Regents Exams
HIGH SCHOOL ONLY
- Tuesday, August 18 – 8:30am – Algebra 1 and English Language Arts
- Tuesday, August 18 – 12:30pm – Global History and Algebra II
- Wednesday, August 19 – 8:30am – U.S. History and Earth & Space Sciences and Chemistry
- Wednesday, August 19 – 12:30pm – Geometry and Life Science: Biology
Regents Review
Monday through Thursday July 27 – August 17th from 2:00pm-4:00pm
Attendance/Participation
Students are required to attend class on time daily, Monday-Thursday 8am-1:18pm. An absence for a special event (for example, previously scheduled vacations, sporting events, camps, court appearances, etc.) is NOT excusable. These absences will count as regular absences. *Students who miss 3 days of summer school WILL NOT receive course credit in that subject area.
Transportation
Transportation will be provided for all students. Letters will be sent via ParentPortal and Parent Square with your child’s bus schedule.
Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for free to all students
Discipline/Conduct
All discipline issues will be enforced based on the District’s Code of Conduct. Any student who disrupts the learning environment will be held responsible and removed from the Summer School Program. Please review the code of conduct here.
