Last month, UAlbany football players and coaches visited Troy Community School to lead students and staff in a variety of drills and activities designed to offer a look into what it takes to be a college football player.
Strength and Conditioning Coach Matthew Barber and Tight End’s coach Brendan Smith brought several players with them to lead the activities.
Nearly all students and staff participated in dynamic stretching and then progressed to tackling, agility and cone drills while learning about the importance of proper conditioning while having a great time together.
The players also shared their journey and offered advice to students about how they can be successful in college and beyond.
Thank you to Coach Barber and Coach Smith, all the players and the UAlbany Football program for spending time with our students!
