Troy Varsity Bowling improves to 5-6 and second in the divsion with a 25-7 win over Averill Park on January 18.

With an impressive 25-7 win over Averill Park, the Troy Varsity Bowling Team improved to 5-6 on the year and in second place in the division.

Anthony Mainello continued to dominate the lanes with a remarkable 645 series. Mainello’s performance included a high game of 234.

Jamari Flowers also added significantly to the team’s success, posting an impressive score of 636 with a high game of 227.

Vincent Mainello also made his presence felt with a great performance, registering a 601 series, including a high game of 239.

Ledwing Rosario displayed solid form throughout the match, notching a score of 588 and a high game of 216.

Andy Williams joined the ranks of top performers with a Varsity game score of 205, making a valuable contribution that earned the team another point.

Aiden Couture, in a remarkable display of skill, came into the final game and hit a score of 197, securing a crucial point for the team. Couture had earlier bowled a 183 and an outstanding 225 on JV, resulting in a new high triple score of 605.

Coach Don Poutre praised the team’s performance after the match.

Troy next takes the lanes tonight on the road at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake. The match will be held at Boulevard Bowl at 4:30.
