Norris Benbow has been with us at School 12 for 22 years, serving as both a TA and administrator on the 9-12 end of the building. The Student Council chose to highlight Mr. Benbow this month with an interview by Hailey Moon:
Q: What is something you love about School 12?
A: I think that it’s a hidden gem. For example, kids who would never normally hang out with each other fit in because we’re like a family here.
Q: What is your best memory from School 12?
A: When (former student) Seth Bussing sang in Lake George at our talent show and all the kids went crazy for him when he finished.
Q: What are your favorite things about the students at School 12?
A: If you form a good relationship with them, they’re some of the most loyal kids.
Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: Listen to music and watch sports
Q: Favorite color?
A: Gold and blue
Q: Favorite music genre?
A: It depends on the day
Q: Favorite movies:
A: Little Giants, Sandlot, The Usual Suspects, 1 part of Zulu Dawn, Black Panther
Q: Where would you go on vacation if you could go anywhere?
A: Anywhere that’s warm with good food
