During the January 16 Board of Education Meeting, Superintendent John Carmello discussed the 2019-2020 Budget development process and Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s budget proposal. Draft 1 of the Troy CSD budget will be presented on February 6. The community will vote on Tuesday, May 21.
Once again, the District is looking at a tax cap of just below 2 percent. Carmello said he hopes to develop a budget at or below that cap.
While administrators are still reviewing the Governor’s proposal, at first glance the figures are far too low. View the entire presentation here.
