Last night, the City of Troy issued a voluntary Boil Water Advisory for portions of the city between Congress Street and Frear Park Road. This includes School 2 and School 18.
Please be assured that clean, supplemental water has been supplied to these schools to ensure the safety of our students and staff. We will continue to use this water until the City completes its testing and lifts the advisory.
The advisory was issued by the City due to its emergency shutdown of a water main for maintenance purposes.
