HVCC College in the High School Registration Information

Steps to Complete Registration for In-Class Courses at Your School – Spring 2026

Please follow the checklist provided below to register and secure enrollment for Spring 2026 College in the High School courses at your high school:

STEP ONE: Create an account on our Voyager Registration System to request the appropriate class(es) by the request deadline of Monday, March 2nd. You can obtain the relevant Course Reference Number (CRN) from your school counselor. Directions on how to create an account and request a course are located on our Enrollment Process and Student Resource Page on our website.

NOTE: Many students already have Voyager accounts from previous HVCC courses. DO NOT create a new account if you already have one. Instead, you may request via this form or email us at cihs@hvcc.edu if you do not remember your HVCC login for Voyager.

STEP TWO: About an hour after you create your Voyager account, HVCC credentials and password instructions are emailed to you. If you do not receive these, email cihs@hvcc.edu.

  1. Full details/a video can be found on the Enrollment Process and Student Resource Page under “How do I setup my HVCC username and password after I create my Voyager account
  2. Returning students can reset their password using security questions OR contact our Computer Learning Center at clchelp@hvcc.edu (email is preferred) or 518-629-7891.

STEP THREE: Obtain and submit a Certificate of Residence (COR). Information on how to obtain a COR is available on our website under “Certificate of Residence, Payment, Drops and Transcripts”. Once obtained, CORs can be uploaded through the student dashboard in Voyager. Students will be charged out-of-state tuition until a COR is on file, at which point those charges will be removed. CORs are due by March 10th @ 5 p.m.

STEP FOUR: Make your payment. The final deadline for courses taught in the high school is Tuesday, March 10th at 5pm. If you do not upload your COR/make payment, your schedule will be dropped.

The student will be registered after the high school contact approves in Voyager. Once the COR is on file, the student will then be able to pay via their Voyager Dashboard using; Mastercard, Visa, Discover and/or a checking account. Per Cashier’s office policy, no phone payments will be accepted.

Reminder: We cannot discuss a student’s account with the student, parent, or other third party over the phone or in-person unless the student has authorized the college to do so. Students who wish to allow their parent(s) or other party access to their account must complete/submit the FERPA waiver form.

Should you have further questions, our website is a great source of information. Beyond that, please contact the counseling center or the HVCC College in the High School office at 518-629-8164 or via email at cihs@hvcc.edu.
