For the first time, Troy City Schools will be represented in the ‘Odyssey of the Mind’ World Finals. The School 18 team will be heading to Michigan State University May 22 – 25 for the World Finals of Odyssey of the Mind, a competition on creative problem-solving using theatrical performance and critical thinking.
On December 14, Troy School 18 students gave presentations to a room full of educators from around the region at NERIC’s 30th Annual Technology Awareness Day. Students worked in groups to demonstrate examples of what they do during the District’s STEM Days including their work with robotics.
Troy City School District is using video conferencing technology to increase student engagement. Recently, the District was highlighted in a video by Cisco, the makers of our MX800s, installed in each classroom throughout the District.
School 18 students presented on topics such as Minecraft, computer coding and robotics at the 29th Annual Regional Technology Awareness Day on December 1.
