Joey Ward named Times Union Male Athlete of the Month
In five games last month, Troy’s Joey Ward carried the ball 72 times for 813 yards and 14 touchdowns for the state’s No. 1-ranked Class AA squad. Those exploits have earned Ward the Times Union Male Athlete of the Month award for September.
