The Troy City School District is preparing for the testing of students and staff that would be required if New York State designates any part of our school community as a Yellow, Orange or Red Zone. While we are not testing yet, we are asking that all parents of in-person or hybrid students complete the COVID-19 Testing Consent Form. Please click the link above for details.
Troy CSD Superintendent John Carmello wishes the community a happy holiday. We thank everyone for their support in making sure we do not have any major COVID-19 outbreaks and we urge people to remain vigilant over the break.
Due to the number of Department of Health issued quarantines, the Alternative Learning Program will pivot to remote learning beginning Wednesday, December 9 through Friday, December 18. Students will return to in-person instruction on Monday, December 21.
Letter from Superintendent John Carmello: Learning and Transportation Choice Form to be sent by November 16
In a letter dated November 6, Superintendent John Carmello asks parents to begin thinking about their child’s learning model for the rest of the school year. A Learning and Transportation Choice Form will be sent to families by November 16 and parents will have until December 1 to request a change. Only those requesting a change need to complete the form. If your child is continuing with their current model, no action is required.
The Family Engagement Survey is conducted in order to assess the current functioning of our schools from the perspective of our families. This survey will take 15 minutes and there should be one survey submitted per household. All submissions are anonymous.
