Artwork created by Troy City School District students from kindergarten through 12th grade will be on display at the Arts Center of the Capital Region from April 22 through May 13. The annual District Art Exhibition showcases the creativity and talent of young artists from across all Troy CSD schools.
The public is invited to an opening reception on Friday, April 24, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Arts Center of the Capital Region, located at 265 River Street in Troy. Awards will be presented at 5:15 p.m. The reception coincides with Troy Night Out, making it a great opportunity to explore downtown Troy and celebrate our students at the same time.
That same evening, the Troy High School Select Choir, Jazz Ensemble, and Troy Middle School Select Choir and Jazz Ensemble will also be performing at the Arts Center at 6:00 p.m.
Refreshments at the reception are provided courtesy of a generous donation from the Troy Teachers Association.
The exhibition is free and open to the public during regular gallery hours through May 13.
