We are excited to welcome new Flying Horses into our schools! Our early childhood programs provide a nurturing, engaging environment where children build the academic, social, and emotional foundations needed for long-term success.

All Pre-K and Kindergarten registration must be completed online through Arbiter (formerly FamilyID). Step-by-step instructions and eligibility details are provided below.

2026-2027 Registration Dates

Pre-K Registration (UPK)

March 9 – April 17, 2026

Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration also opens March 9 for the 2026–2027 school year. All students — including current UPK (four-year-old) students — must register for Kindergarten through Arbiter.

Who Is Eligible?

Pre-K Eligibility

Children must turn 3 or 4 years old on or before December 1, 2026 and reside within the Troy City School District.

Kindergarten Eligibility

Children must turn 5 years old on or before December 1, 2026 and reside within the Troy City School District.

How to Register Online Through Arbiter

All Troy CSD Pre-K and Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year is completed online through Arbiter (formerly FamilyID).

Step 1: Create or Log Into Your Arbiter Account

Visit the Troy City School District Registration Portal

  • New users: Click Create Account
  • Returning users: Click Log In

Step 2: Complete the Registration Form

  • Fill out all required fields (marked with a red asterisk *)
  • Upload required documents
  • Review your information carefully before submitting

Step 3: Submit Your Application

Click Submit to complete registration. You will receive a confirmation email.

You may log in to Arbiter at any time to update your information or check your registration status.

Required Documents for Registration

Families must upload or provide:

  • Child’s birth certificate
  • Two (2) Proofs of residency (lease, mortgage statement, or utility bill such as National Grid)
  • Current immunization records
  • Up-to-date health certificate signed by a doctor
