Seven Troy High School varsity sports teams earned the Scholar-Athlete Team designation from the New York State Public High School Athletic Association. This honor is awarded to teams whose average GPA for the top 75% of the roster is 90.00 or higher.
In addition, 80 Troy High student-athletes were named individual scholar-athletes in recognition of their dedication in the classroom and on the field.
At the end of each sports season, the NYSPHSAA honors those teams and individuals that excel in the classroom. Those student-athletes, teams, and schools work very hard throughout the year and deserve to be recognized for their academic success.
