Staff from each of our three teams select one student at the end of each month, and we honor their achievements in order to provide positive reinforcement for student behavior. The winners receive a bag filled with some of their favorite treats, as well as being recognized in front of their peers at a school-wide assembly.
Middle School: Josephina Wescott
Josephina continues to show what it means to change the narrative. She is determined to succeed and focused on her education. She is able to ignore distractions and does her work with purpose. In addition, she is kind and respectful. Josephina has positive relationships with the adults at TCS and we hope she is proud of all that she has accomplished so far. We foresee more student of the month awards in her future!
Purple Team: Olivia Delamerced
Olivia has been a consistent positive role model for her peers. She attends school regularly, gets her work done at a high level, and always has a cheerful smile on her face. Olivia also was just elected as Secretary of our TCS Student Council! Keep up the great work Olivia!
Gold Team: Nala Lewis-Bey
The Gold Team nominated ninth grader Nala, for their October Student of the Month. Nala was chosen for her behavior, attendance, and overall attitude during the second month!
