THS Senior Hannah Guynup received a $500 scholarship from the Colonie Art League.
Troy High senior Hannah Guynup recently received a $500 scholarship from the Colonie Art League. The award was one of five distributed to local 12th-grade art students from Troy, Albany, Colonie Central, Schenectady and Shaker high schools.
The winners are chosen by each school’s art department based on academic performance, artistic talent, ability and commitment to continue their studies at the college level in the field of art using any medium – education, design, therapy, graphics, illustration, or others.
Hannah has taken digital art, print making, sculpture, and drawing and painting at Troy High, and she will attend the University at Albany as an Art major next year. Congratulations, Hannah!
