School 16 fifth-graders planted flowers and cleaned up trash around the building to celebrate Earth Day
Fifth-grade students at School 16 kicked off the first day after Spring Break with a hands-on celebration of Earth Day, participating in the school’s annual campus clean-up. The event, organized and supported by the School 16 PTA, brought students outside to take care of their school grounds and learn the importance of environmental responsibility.
Students planted colorful flowers at the front of the school and walked around the building, collecting trash to help keep the campus clean and welcoming for all. Their teamwork and enthusiasm is an example of how small actions can make a significant impact.
Special thanks go to the School 16 PTA for their continued support in making this tradition possible. And a huge shout-out to our fifth-grade students for their hard work and positive energy in making School 16 a cleaner, greener place!
