The Varsity Boys enter sectional play with the #3 seed and a first round bye, and the girls are seeded #8 and will play Amsterdam at home in the first round.

Sectional seedings are out, and both the Varsity Boys and Girls teams are heading to the postseason!

In the Boy’s bracket released Thursday, Troy received the #3 seed, which gives the team a first-round bye (along with Niskayuna, LaSalle and Amsterdam). Their first game will be against either Averill Park or Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake on Saturday, March 1 at Hudson Valley Community College. Tipoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Tickets for this game are available here via GoFan.

The Girls are seeded in the #8 spot, earning them a home matchup against #9-seeded Amsterdam on Monday, February 24. That game starts at 6:00 p.m. The winner of Troy vs Amsterdam will advance to face #1 seed Columbia on Friday the 28th. Tickets for this game will also be available on GoFan.
