The winners and runners-up from each building spelling bee competed at TMS on February 11 in the district-wide spelling bee.

The Troy City School District held its annual district-wide spelling bee at Troy Middle School on Tuesday, February 11, bringing together the top young spellers from across the district for an exciting competition.

Students who placed in the top two at their individual school spelling bees earned the opportunity to compete at the district level, putting their hard work and vocabulary skills to the test.

After a fierce battle of letters and nerves, Arshad Pulungan from School 18 and Kamari Stephens from Carroll Hill School came out on top as this year’s champions! It was a great competition, with all participants showing incredible determination and poise under pressure.

After the bee, students and their families gathered in the TMS library for refreshments and a small awards ceremony, where all participants were recognized for their achievements.

Congratulations to Arshad, Kamari and all our incredible spellers who participated in this year’s event!
