
The CBA-Troy-Columbia Swim Team broke two pool records on January 21. The team of Quinn Nelson, Liam Witting, AJ Bette and Luka Di Fabio broke the 400 Free Relay pool record that stood for 35 years (L), and the team of Quinn Nelson, Rocco Jabour, Andrew Orcutt and Liam Witting broke the pool record for the 200 Medley Relay which stood for five years.
The CBA-Troy-Columbia Varsity Boys Swim Team set two new pool records – including one that stood for a whopping 35 years! Both records were broken during the team’s meet against Schenectady-Colonie on January 21.
In the preliminary heat for the 400 free relay, the team of Quinn Nelson, Liam Witting, AJ Bette and Luka Di Fabio swam a 3:21.04, breaking the record set back in 1990.
Also at yesterday’s meet, the team broke the pool record for the 200 Medley relay which was last set five years ago. In that race, Quinn Nelson, Rocco Jabour, Andrew Orcutt, and Liam Witting swam a 1:41.93.
CBA-Troy-Columbia won the meet by a score of 56-33 and improved to 7-0 on the season.
