Several Troy High student artists had their work featured at the New York State Art Teachers Association (NYSATA) Conference in Binghamton last weekend. Students in Cindy DiDonna-Nethaway’s class were part of the conference gallery, which featured work from talented artists across the state.
Ms. DiDonna also presented two sessions at the conference – one inspired by Nneka Jones in which participants created QR code self-portraits using watercolor, exploring gridding and color theory fundamentals, and another for new teachers just entering the field on preparing for applications and interviews to help them land their dream job.
