Cartoonist Ira Marcks visited several THS art classes earlier this month.
Earlier this month, THS art students had a special guest for a few days to help them learn about creating comics. Award-winning cartoonist Ira Marcks visit Ms. DiDonna’s, Ms. Duchnycz’s and Ms. Lane’s drawing and painting classes from 11/13-19 to share his experience and tips with our young artists.

Marcks is an award-winning cartoonist who has worked with major American publishers, various universities, a White House Fellow and the European Research Council. The New York Times and the American Library Association have recommended his graphic novels. When Ira isn’t making comics, he teaches on the creative learning platform Skillshare, where his courses have inspired over 100,000 students.
