This morning, the City of Troy and Mayor Carmella Mantello honored Troy CSD’s own Al Prater with a dedication for “Al Prater Way” on the section of Sixth Avenue in front of the Boys and Girls Club – right next to Earl Harrison Way, named for his best friend and long-time colleague.
Prater, as he’s known to many, has been part of the Troy CSD team for nearly 40 years and has left an indelible mark on countless youth throughout the city – and in some cases, even those kids’ kids!
Thank you, Al, for your selfless dedication to Troy CSD and the youth of our community! Your impact will surely be felt for generations in Collar City.
Thank you also to Mayor Mantello and the Troy City Council for making this wonderful dedication possible.
