19 THS students and their mentors were recognized at the annual Career Discovery Breakfast on May 16.
On Thursday, May 16, nineteen Troy High School students and their mentors were honored for their collaboration in the Career Discovery Experience (CDE) at the annual recognition breakfast.
Students and their mentors shared insights and reflections about their internships during the event.
The CDE provides students with valuable opportunities to explore various professions through hands-on work experiences in fields such as healthcare, law, cybersecurity, environmental science, architecture, museum management, veterinary medicine, and more.
Participating students will learn firsthand about the demands and requirements of one or more careers. By observing positive adult role models, they will understand the significance of possessing appropriate attitudes and behavior, maintaining integrity and ethics, developing effective human relations and communication skills, fostering teamwork, managing time efficiently, and cultivating good study habits.
