Last weekend, Boys Varsity Soccer hosted Stillwater and Amsterdam as we enter the final stretch of the season.
Against Stillwater Saturday morning, goals from Luigi Chiera and Collin Schroeder led the Flying Horses to a 2-1 victory, along with a solid defensive showing, holding the Warriors to just one goal.
Sunday afternoon, Troy fell just short on a 4-3 overtime loss to the Rams. Junior Daniel Wiltshire scored the first two goals of his varsity career, and Jakub Kaczmar also added a goal and an assist.
The Flying Horses close the season with three road matches – Ballston Spa on October 10 (4:15 pm), Colonie on October 12 (7:00 pm) and the regular season finale at Schoharie on October 14 (12:00 pm).
