The THS Varsity Bowling team is headed for Sectional play with a 7-7 record after a solid finish to the season, winning three of their last four matches. The Flying Horses defeated CBA, Bethlehem and #1 division-ranked Averill Park by a score of 19-13.
The team scored a season-high 3710 pins and a single-game high 1311 pins.
The team was led by Anthony Mainello, who had a high game of 265 and a 756 triple, followed by his brother Vince Mainello who rolled a high game of 257 for a 643 triple. Jamari Flowers got his high game this season with a 231 and a 576 triple. Christian Rasmussen rolled a 228 and 594 triple. Nate Balogh hit a solid 203 and a 528 triple. Team captain Olivia DeCitise rolled a high game of 213 for a 613 triple to win the match.
DeCitise also closed out the regular season leading the Boys Suburban Council with a 222 average.
