Students were able to interact with Pepe and Mickey during their visit on Monday, October 24.

On October 24, students at the Troy Community School got a special visit from Pepe and Mickey – two miniature donkeys from the Higher Ground Farm in Hoosick Falls. TCS students visit the farm several times throughout the year to spend time with the animals and staff and experience the incredible benefits of equine therapy.

By bringing Pepe and Mickey to the school, far more students had the opportunity to interact with the animals and benefit from the experience. Students were able to feed and brush the animals, take them through an obstacle course and run with them in the field behind the building.

Thank you to Higher Ground for bringing this wonderful experience to our students at TCS!
