A student works at a screen printing machine in front of a wall of windows in an art gallery

During their trip to the Opalka Gallery, students were able to create various works, including screen prints.

Troy High School AP Art students recently had a wonderful field trip to the Opalka Gallery at Russell Sage College in Albany.
Nathan Meltz, a printmaker, RPI educator and organizer of the fifth Screenprint Biennial, led our students through a gallery tour and facilitated the artmaking workshop.
Our students created various prints, collages and drawings. We are very fortunate to have made this artistic connection with our Troy Community and Troy Family.
