The 2022-23 student application is out for Sponsor a Scholar (SAS). Please see the links below for detailed information. SAS is a nonprofit organization based in Albany. Their mission is to provide specialized programs, mentoring, professional guidance, and academic and financial support for qualifying high school students in the Capital Region. By assembling a network of business leaders, educational advocates, and dedicated volunteers, promising youth are provided opportunity and access to higher education that may be otherwise unavailable. The application is open now for 9th graders who meet the criteria highlighted in the links below. Applications are due April 15th. All applications will be reviewed by SAS Staff and Board Members.
