This morning, Governor Cuomo indicated that the state is relaxing its mask mandate for schools when students are outside for recess or physical education. In accordance with the CDC recommendations, Governor Cuomo also said there will be no changes to the indoor mask requirements at this time.
Therefore, effective immediately, the Troy City School District will implement this outdoor activities protocol change, which will include athletic events. Masks will still be required indoors for all students and staff until further guidance is received.
