Registration deadline extended to April 27.
Dear Families:
Troy High School, in partnership with the Whitney Young Health Center, will host two events for students aged 16+ to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. While the vaccine is not mandatory, we encourage our students to receive it as soon as possible. Additionally, as announced by Governor Andrew Cuomo, the details of our year-end events (graduation and prom), such as the number of attendees we can accommodate, may be determined by the number of students who are vaccinated.
We will continue to share these opportunities with you as we are notified of them.
Thank you.
Students age 16+
Troy High School – partnership with Whitney Young Health
Friday, April 30, 9 a.m. 2 p.m. – Hybrid students only.
Friday, May 21, 9 a.m. 2 p.m. – Hybrid students only.
We are currently exploring options for an alternative event for remote students, but cannot accommodate remote students for the above THS events at this time.
Students/Parents must complete and return the NYS Department of Health COVID-19 Immunization Screening and Consent Form form by April 27. This form has also been provided to students at school. Parents do not need to accompany their child to this vaccination event so long as the permission form has been completed.
