During the February 5 Board of Education meeting, Superintendent John Carmello presented Draft 1 of the 2020-2021 Troy City School District budget. This year, the tax cap is 2.06 percent and the Governor’s proposed increase in aid represents significant underfunding. The proposed Draft 1 of the budget is $116,964,548, representing a 2.44-percent increase from the current school year.
