Troy City School District residents have approved a $111,893,389 budget for the 2018-19 school year. Three candidates were elected to the Board of Education, including one incumbent. The unofficial results of the budget vote are 480 (yes) to 139 (no). This budget will result in a 1.54-percent tax levy increase – a figure that is $123,282 below the allowable tax cap.
