The Troy City School District is registered by the NYS Education Department. Credits earned in Summer School may be applied toward a high school diploma.
Registration location: Troy Middle School Cafeteria
Registration hours: Tuesday, July 2, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
All students must bring the completed 2019 Secondary Summer School Registration Form and your child’s final report card.
Non residents may NOT register for courses or Regents exams. Students who live in Troy and attend a private institution are eligible to register for summer school.
Transportation will be provided for all students. Letters will be mailed with your child’s bus schedule.
Breakfast and Lunch
Free breakfast and lunch will be provided for all students.
Students are required to attend class on time daily, Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.- 1:18 p.m. An absence for special events (for example, previously scheduled vacations, sporting events, camps, court appearances, etc.) is NOT excusable. These absences will count as regular absences. ** Students who miss 4 days of summer school WILL NOT receive course credit in that subject area. **
All discipline issues will be enforced based on the District Code of Conduct. Any student who disrupts the learning environment will be held responsible and removed from the Summer School Program.

July 30 – Interim reports mailed
July 29 –August 12 – Regents Review classes begin: 2 – 4 p.m. (Monday-Thursday)
August 6- Earth Science Lab Practical: 2 p.m.
August 7- Earth Science Lab Practical Makeup: 2 p.m.
August 13 and 14 -Regents examinations begin @ 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. (sharp)
August 12 – Last day of summer classes
August 23 – 30 – Report Cards mailed to students
