The Troy City School District is registered by the NYS Education Department.  Credits earned in Summer School may be applied toward a high school diploma.

Registration Information

Registration location: Troy Middle School Cafeteria
Registration hours: June 26, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
All students must bring the completed Secondary Summer School Registration Form and your child’s final report card. 

Non residents many NOT register for courses or Regents exams. Students who live in Troy and attend a private institution are eligible to register for summer school. 

Transportation

Transportation will be provided for all students. Letters will be mailed with your child’s bus schedule.

Breakfast and Lunch

Free breakfast and will be provided for all students.

Attendance/Participation

Students are required to attend class on time daily, Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.- 1:18 p.m. An absence for special events (for example, previously scheduled vacations, sporting events, camps, court appearances, etc.) is NOT excusable.  These absences will count as regular absences.  ** Students who miss 4 days of summer school WILL NOT receive course credit in that subject area. **

Discipline/Conduct

All discipline issues will be enforced based on the District’s Code of Conduct. Any student who disrupts the learning environment will be held responsible and removed from the Summer School Program.
