The 21st Century Program would like to invite all of our past and present families to participate in our virtual Lights on Afterschool event.
When: Thursday, October 22
Why: Help the 21st Century Program in the Troy City School District advocate in the nationwide movement for the importance of afterschool programming such as the 21st Century Program.
How can you participate?
- Record a short video of you and/or your child explaining why the 21st Century Program is important to you using Screencastify (your child must be logged in on their school account) on your student’s device and share with 21century@troycsd.org.
- Email 21century@troycsd.org explaining why the 21st Century Program is important to you.
- Students can decorate a light bulb to send to local legislatures (download lightbulb here). Take a picture of your lightbulb and email it to 21century@troycsd.org
All the above ideas must be submitted by Monday, October 19, in order to be included in the Lights on Afterschool Video. This video will be shared on the Troy City School District website and Facebook Pages.
