The Troy High football team is headed back to the Carrier Dome to defend its state title after a 20-13 win over Newburgh Free Academy Saturday night in the Class AA state semifinals. Senior Dev Holmes scored a touchdown with less than two minutes to play in the game to give the Flying Horses the lead for good. Troy will play Lancaster on Sunday, November 26 at 3 p.m. in Syracuse. A send off with the Troy High Cheerleaders and Band will take place on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at Troy High School.
