On September 19, dads, step dads, grandfathers and uncles (and some moms, too!) participated in the annual Dads Take Your Child to School Day. All five Troy City School District elementary schools participated.
Dads were welcomed with a breakfast and had the opportunity to visit classrooms and read with their children.
Actively involved fathers are a positive force in the lives of their children and their community. Dads Take Your Child to School Day is an event that promotes father involvement by encouraging fathers and significant male caregivers of all kinds to take their children to school.
